Road to Miss Iceland 2011:
Sigrún Eva Ármannsdóttir was crowned Ungfrú Vesturland 2011 or Miss Vesturland 2011. She is 18 year old and will compete in Miss Iceland 2011 pageant to be held on May 20.

Miss Caribbean World 2011 on May 21

Sudeakka Francis won Miss Caribbean World 2011

Sudeakka Francis, Miss St. Kitts and Nevis, was crowned Miss Caribbean World 2011 on May 21 at Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall. First Runner-Up went to Miss Anguilla, Shellya Rogers who also copped the Miss Intellect title, which carried 90 points towards the final score.

Second Runner-Up went to Miss Dominica, Jacintha Fagan. Miss Dominica was also judged Best Evening Wear and Miss Photogenic. She said that following in the footsteps of the two queens who copped the 2009 and 2010 titles was very difficult to do. Third Runner-Up was Miss USVI Terussa Thomas, while Miss Jamaica Raecine Williams and Miss Trinidad and Tobago Sherrice Andrews tied for the Fourth Runner-Up spot.

Juan Pablo Gómez of Venezuela won Mister Universe Model 2011

Slovania (5th), Luxembourg (3rd), Venezuela (1st), Dominican Republic (2nd), and Bolivia (4th)Antonio Duarte, Mister Dominican Republic, was 2nd, Mister Luxembourg, David Florentin, was 3rd, Mister Bolivia, Nelson Gutiérrez, was 4th, and Mister Slovenia, Bojan Ilijanic, was 5th.
In the top 10 were the candidates of México (Christian De La Campa); Serbia (Milos Micovic); Portugal (Ricardo Cruz); Chile (Danilo Rodríguez) and Ukraine (Oleg Sukhoverkhov).
Among the 15 semi-finalists were the candidates from South Africa (Jacques Fagan); Irak (Mohammed Al-Saadi); Ireland (Darragh Hayes); Peru (Gustavo Pinillos) and Indonesia (Rikas Harsa).

Alejandra Barillas, Miss Guatemala 2010, was crowned Miss Guatemala 2011 again.

Alejandra Barillas Crowned Miss Guatemala 2011Alejandra Barillas won the competition in 2010, which entitled her to participate in the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas. Weeks prior to departure, she suffered a lession in her ankle which ended her dreams of participating in the international event. She was eventually replaced by her 2nd runner-up, Jessica Schell. Schell went on to become a Top 10 finalist during the world finals held at the Mandalay Bay resort. In 2011, due to a change in schedule of the Miss Guatemala pageant -which will take place in October, the organization, headed by Alex Orellana, together with its sponsors, decided to give Barillas the chance to represent the country at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Barillas was crowned Miss Guatemala again, this time by her runner-up, Jessica Scheel. Alejandra Barillas has been crowned Miss Guatemala again, and this time by her second runner-up. Barillas is 25 year old and stands 1.80 m. The organization did not mention who will represent Guatemala at the 2011 Miss World pageant to be held in London, from October 15th to November 8th. An announcement will take place soon.
